Our passion is growing healthy farm fresh food with sustainable farming. We breed and raise registered, A2A2 Jerseys and strive to produce the highest quality raw milk that we can. Our cows are our passion, and living life intimately involved with them is a big part of who we are.

We are always looking for new ways to improve, and the learning process is a lifelong journey. We selectively breed for quality genetics, health, longevity, and high milk components. Every breeding is an attempt to improve, not only the individual offspring, but a contribution to the Jersey breed.

Our cows are rotationally grazed year round on naturally managed pastures. We work hard to improve and sufficiently rest our pastures, to ensure the best quality forages for our cows. During the winter we also feed them the highest quality hay that we can find. While in milk, our Jerseys do receive a small amount of locally grown grain, to help maintain a healthy body condition. We also offer free choice loose minerals at all times.

Our raw milk is produced with great care and diligence, to be the best it can possibly be. Each cow is individually cleaned, prepped, and milked one at a time, by a Delaval style bucket milk machine. The system is fully enclosed and has in line filtration. The milk is then immediately transferred to a small bulk tank for rapid chilling. Once chilled, it is carefully bottled in glass half gallon jars.

Our cows are managed naturally, and great care is taken to keep them healthy and clean. Only very rarely is antibiotic treatment used in the event that the life or long-term health of a cow is in danger.

Grass Fed Beef

We also raise Angus and Gelbvieh beef cattle. Our beef herd is rotationally grazed and stockpiled all year long. We focus on good beef genetics and the ability to flourish on well managed pasture alone. Our grass fed beef is naturally raised and free of hormones and antibiotics.
